Thank you very much for your interest in this very nice item. L-2B USAF Flight Jacket. VERY RARE in this CONDITION. Out of our personal collection, and honestly the only item we saw in this condition in all the years of collecting. This is a genuine and original L2-B USAF Flight Jacket. It is the lighter weight version, has snap-down epaultes and no inside pockets. The jacket is contract dated 12. September 1962 and is in a rare and nice condition! The Conmar doublesided zip works perfectly nice and smooth. The Zips ending got no damage nor fading. The collar and the lower hem got no mothholes nor any other damage. The size is Medium (Sadly sadly too small for us). Defects as we are aware of. The jacket is in used condition but given to its age it is still very nice. The cuffs have broken middle seams and a small tiny hole at the endge (both can by repaired easily). There is a small little hole in the nylon at the backside shoulder (please see the picture). There are some small stains at the front and the backside, hardly visible, but a dry cleaning should do the job. Genuine US government issue. Made from a nylon outside and wool/viscose mix material for the inside. All buttons are there. Zip is working perfecltly. We try our best to point each single defect, but still we do NOT GUARANTEE for anything! Brand: US Air Force. Year of contract: 1962. Style : Light Flight Jacket.
