I believe these were some of the photos dues to make a book about the unit, judging by the one that looks like a title page. Censor stamp is fate but its dated 1945. Really nice photos showing different departments such as Pilots, Camera Repair, Medics, Mess, etc. Many different photos of the various men in the photo recon squadron, all identified in the photos. Ready to hang proudly in your home! I have searched the internet and can not find any comparable examples. Beside the captions and the air force museum there are no identifying marks on these pictures. That leads me to believe these were made for museum use. If anyone can identify these I will appreciate the information. These pictures show well and should be framed and enjoyed. They do have some signs of age and wear. Minor small wrinkles and creases. They were rolled together in 5 inch tube when I received them. They lay flat after unrolling because of weight of card stock. Should be removed and laid flat after receiving. Type I – A 1st generation photograph, developed from the original negative, during the period (within approximately two years of when the picture was taken). Type II – A photograph, developed from the original negative, during the period (more than approximately two years after the picture was taken). Type III – A 2nd generation photograph, developed from a duplicate negative or wire transmission, during the period (within approximately 2 years of when the picture was taken).
