1947 USAF Military WWII AIR FORCE Officers Hartmann Gibraltarized Uniform Trunk

Watching this video is a MUST SEE to appreciate the TRUE condition of this pieve of history. This rectangular trunk is made of high-quality green military finish leather and has a sturdy hinge door mechanism. It was manufactured in Gibraltar in the early 20th century and weighs approximately 10lbs. The handle material is also made of leather and has a personalized touch. The trunk is a genuine antique item from the World War II era, and it is licensed for original reproduction. It has a few signs of wear and tear due to its age, but it is still in excellent condition overall. The interior is immaculate, and it is perfect for storage or display purposes. This trunk is a must-have for any military memorabilia collector or someone who appreciates rare and unique pieces. Item was found in Quartzsite Arizona at a estate sale by his family.. It was told to me he was a pilot on heavies, and one of ths first ever officers enlisted in the Air Force in 1947..

The plus sides are there’s a nearly identical example in the flying tigers museum displayed. There are some subtle differences but they’re very close. The paint does not glow in any way shape or form. Yes I know there’s many reasons that could be for that but the paint in my opinion feels it has some sort of age to it. It was displayed in front of many my painted A-2 jackets for some time but I’m downsizing some stuff. Please view photos and make your own decisions.

We are offering for sale a Vintage green military trunk foot locker with a military history and ties to the now closed Cason Long Military Academy in New Bloomfield Pa. To McCord Airforce Base Tacoma Washington stenciled in black on large white painted square on top.. Information stenciled in black on the bottom where it has five small feet.. Chest has two metal drop handles on each end and a metal drop handle for carrying like a suitcase.. A hasp for a pad lock and two draw latches for security.. Interior is clean and odor free with a divided tray.. See pics for details.. CONDITION:: Overall good used vintage condition.. Shows some appropriate use wear and age with one tray support missing.. WW2 US Army Air Force Corp officer cadet soldier KIA pilot USAF NAME group trunk. Another original item from. Here is your chance to own an interesting grouping from an Air Force cadet who was killed during pilot training. Named to (I believe he made Seargent) Ralph Hilleary. This includes just about everything saved by his mother after his death and includes military uniform items, his cemetary deed, sympathy cards, newspaper clippings, etc. From my research Ralph entered the service in 1944 and trained into 1947 as an aviation cadet. His mother applied for the World War II compensation fund and was denied as he technically died after the end of the war, though did enter the service while the war still raged in 1944. The visor is a size 7-18 from Society and there are four garrison caps and his khaki (all named) trousers. You can see I put all of his miscellaneous military insignia into a riker display case. All in all it’s a very sad story and this is basically his entire legacy in this trunk. There is also a tattered Boy Scouts of America shirt, and personal items such as his golf balls, a knitted sweater vest, photos of women he knew, and other items. Reat looking grouping in good overall condition and ready for your collection. I never grade my items as mint, even though may be. Here we have a Vintage WWII USAF Air Force Veteran British Everwear Wardrobe Steamer Trunk. It belonged to Retired LT. Per his obituary (see pictures) he was the pilot of a B-24 Liberator Bomber, flying over 50 Combat Missions over eastern & central Europe during WWII. It measures 42″ x 22″ x 14 (closed). It comes with 5 hangers and a locking bar for the bottom 3 drawers. There is NO key for the trunk or the inside top drawer. Original Items; One-of-a-kind grouping. Roche of Brooklyn, New York was a MP Captain in the 5th Air Force of the USAAF during WWII. Included in this lovely grouping are the following items: – U. WWII Foot locker trunk named in painted stencil to James P Roche – U. WWII Class A Uniform Tunic & Pants (folded inside the jacket). Tunic is labeled to Roche in the inner pocket, featuring Lieutenant Bars, 5th Air Force Shoulder Patch, USAAF Collar Tabs, Medal Ribbons that include, Army Good Conduct, American Campaign Medal, Pacific Asiatic Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal – U. WWII Ike Jacket with USAAF Shoulder patch, Captain Bars, and USAAF Collar Tabs – U. WWII 2 x Officer overseas Garrison caps one with embroidered Lieutenant bars – U. WWII Khaki Shirt – U.
