Original Named WWII CBI/10th Air Force A2 Jacket; Aero Leather Contact Size 38. Very nice example named to a Lieutenant on the front. All original knits and zipper, Sewn LT bars at the shoulder. The leather is still supple and has not been treated or messed with. The zipper is intact, but does have a split in the tape at the bottom. I believe it will still function if you handle it gingerly. Aero Leather Clothing D1 sheepskin flying Jacket. SIZE 38-40 this was custom made by aero but fits like a standard 40 really, im a 40 in most things and can fit a heavy USN knitted jumper underneath comfortably. Could probably even fit a 42 depending on how you want it to fit. Pit to Pit -23inpit to cuff -17inShoulder to cuff – 24.5inShoulder to shoulder – 20inbottom of Collar to Hem -25in. A repro of a early WW2 USAF D-1 ground crew sheepskin jacket. These are amazing midweight sheepskink’s that are much lighter than say a b-15 but keep you extremely warm in most weathers and are much more comfortable aswell as functional as a wearable piece of clothing. I have owned a few ground crew sheepskins over the years by mccoys, eastman and aero but this has alway been my favourite one. From more info on these you can see the aero website. Jacket is in good condition with no rips or tears. This has been worn and has an amazing natural patina from wear which looks time worn. Please see pictures for general overview of condition. This was recently serviced a few years ago by Aero where they had the jacket cleaned and conditioned aswell as replacing some of the leather and hardware. Aero A-2 Horsehide (unknown Maker Model) Leather Jacket. A repro of a early WW2 USAF A-2 jacket by Aero leather clothing. This design is a masterpiece and i consider it to be a wardrobe staple for any guy into military and Air Force clothing. This specific model is based on a unknown maker model a-2 from early ww2 and is made from beautiful horsehide which has been vegetable dyed just like the leather was originally during the war. Has an original wartime talon brass zipper and authentic hardware. Condition is very good considering its 30 years old now. This has an amazing natural patina from wear and looks just like a war time a-2 or a time worn eastman lets say. The leather is still supple and still stiff like horsehide should be aswell as having no cracking or dryness to the leather and no holes or moth damage to the cuffs which is quite remarkable considering its age. Has some damage to the lining around the neck and one under arm but is not visible when worn and doesnt really effect the jacket. I was going to replace the lining but I found out recently that they used dead stock usaf a-2 lining fabric on this jacket so decided to leave it as is. Please see pictures for general overview of jacket and condition. I have attached a fit pic to get an idea of sizing. Im 510, 10 stone with a 32in waist! A pair of original 1940’s WW2 US Army Air Force Type B-2 bomber flight pants with suspenders and removable alpaca lining. Made in USA by Aero Leather Clothing Co. They are in great condition for their age with just a little faint staining in a couple of areas, a small repair near the right hem and a tiny cut in the back of the left leg. The zips, buttons and buckles all work fine and the lining is pristine. Please see all images to get a complete idea of the condition. The label reads Large.
