The diary was kept by B-17 Waist Gunner Emile R. Martineau was a member of the M. Lovell (pilot) crew and completed 18 combat bombing missions against Germany from 2/10/1945 to 4/18/1945. The diary has super content regarding the missions flown including flak, flak damage, damaged and shot down B-17’s, and also his fear of encountering German Jets. The diary starts on 2/3/1945 and goes to his final combat mission. There are more than 18 entries as several missions were postponed or scrubbed. It took his crew 5 tries to finally get their 1st completed mission due to engine trouble, weather, and scrubbed missions. The mission diary is entirely written in legible period ink by Martineau. The diary measures 6 x 4 inches in size. The last photo is some information that I printed off of the internet about the original owner of the diary and everything dates, missions, etc.. correspond to the diary. This listing for this MA-1 Air Force Flight Jacket mfg. Under a 1972 US Gvt. This jacket is all original and authentic. Incredibly fantastic and very, very original! It is a men’s size Large. It hasn’t any snags or holes The cuffs and bands do show wear (photoed). There are no rips, tears or holes in the jacket itself and all of the zippers and snaps are in perfect working condition. This is a very nice, solid, Vietnam era model that can be proudly worn or displayed. Please see photos for actual condition. Please feel free to ask questions. This jacket shows some wear at the collar, and cuffs, but it’s all original and extremely nice and wearable as is. Shows lots of authentic character. This is for a large matted and framed limited edition print. It was done to commemorate the USAF 50th Anniversary at Tinker AFB. I believe this to be from 1997. It is signed in pencil by the artist RT Foster and is number 53 of 200. Print features planes back to WW2 and notable Air Force personnel associated with Oklahoma. In addition to the artist, it is autographed in pencil by Dr. Sheila Widnall (Secretary of the Air Force), Gen. Ronald Fogleman (Chief of Staff of the Air Force), Gen. James E Hill (WW2 Ace and NORAD Commander), BGen. Robinson Risner (Korean War Ace and Vietnam POW), and LTGEN Thomas P Stafford (Gemini and Apollo Astronaut). It is professionally framed and double matted. Frame is roughly 26×34 inches. Matt has some spots and a ghost where a name plate was removed (see pictures). This is a fantastic coat in very good condition. There is not any damage except for some pilling on the knitted trim and a hole in one sleeve. There are not any tears or seam bursts. NAMED WWII 311th FIGHTER GROUP 10th AIR FORCE CBI PILOT BUSH FLIGHT JACKET WW2

The jacket is entirely either Burmese or Chinese theater made. There is no size tagging present, but jacket measures to a size 34-36 or so. The jacket is period named to R. I researched the name and found a Robert V. Mulanax who was a 10th AF fighter pilot with the 311th Fighter Group, 530th Fighter Squadron. Mulanax was credited with three aerial victories, one each on 11/28/1943, 3/27/1944, and 5/11/1944. The vintage bush jacket exhibits heavy period wear and use. The jacket exhibits soiling and sweat staining throughout and a few of the buttons are also chipped or have some small losses. The inner neck of the jacket has some period writing in ink with the name of pilot and misc. Numbers possibly partial serial numbers. The outer neck under the collar has a serial number which I believe reads O666424 written in it as seen. The lower inside front tail of the jacket has some kanji characters and also the initials RVM period written in them. Some of the writing has bled as seen but is still mainly legible. The jacket also lacks the belt. This jacket is in by no means excellent condition, but is one that shows honest period use and field wear and was probably flown in quite a bit. The jacket and all patches & insignia are 100% theater made and jacket is totally original with nothing added or removed. The jacket displays wonderfully and would make a wonderful addition to most any WWII CBI or Fighter Pilot collection. I have owned several WWII theater made bush jackets over the years, but this one was always my favorite. Guaranteed 100% authentic in every regard. 99 CENTS TO START & NO RESERVE!
