This is an Echo Box TS-488/U. Decal on lid indicates it was from Kelly AFB in San Antonio, Texas (not far from me). Under the lid this thing looks excellent. Everything turns that is supposed to. Has 5 spare crystals in the compartment. I photographed one to show number. Appears to have all accessories inside the lid including a plastic info card. Under that there are two Allen wrenches and another card. I didn’t want to try to remove anything for fear of damage. I understand it has something to do with radar and is from the 1950’s. Made by Fairchild Camera co. Interesting piece of history! WILL DEFINITELY CONSIDER ALL OFFERS. I just want to find it another home.
