This is an incredibly rare United States Air Force zippo lighter – from my research the zippo dates from 1947 – 1949 but has Vietnam Era engravings that are dated 1961 – 1962. This zippo has extremely rare original engravings that relate to Hickam and Pearl Harbor – rarely seen on Vietnam era zippos. This fantastic zippo is also personalised – It belonged to Ronnie A Guidry (from San Antonio, Texas – with his military number on the reverse). I have included more information about the original owner at the end of the description. In a used condition with lots of wear. But has a really desirable look. Cam spring is a bit sticky. The hinge is very loose. The zippo has its original insert which is in working order. Overall an extremely rare zippo with lots of historical and social significance.
