Watching this video is a MUST SEE to appreciate the TRUE condition of this pieve of history. This rectangular trunk is made of high-quality green military finish leather and has a sturdy hinge door mechanism. It was manufactured in Gibraltar in the early 20th century and weighs approximately 10lbs. The handle material is also made of leather and has a personalized touch. The trunk is a genuine antique item from the World War II era, and it is licensed for original reproduction. It has a few signs of wear and tear due to its age, but it is still in excellent condition overall. The interior is immaculate, and it is perfect for storage or display purposes. This trunk is a must-have for any military memorabilia collector or someone who appreciates rare and unique pieces. Item was found in Quartzsite Arizona at a estate sale by his family.. It was told to me he was a pilot on heavies, and one of ths first ever officers enlisted in the Air Force in 1947..

Made by Moss Bros. Sadly the details are no longer legible and too faint to read. The uniform is post war period. The Observer brevet looks WWII Period. Highly decorated Officer with Distinguished Flying Cross, 1939-45 Star, Africa Star with Rosette, Pacific Star with Rosette, Defence, British War Medal, General Service Medal and Croix de Guerre with palm. I have taken the following measurements as a guide for fit. Please account for under garments. WWII ARMY AIR FORCE. ORIGINAL OFFICER’S CRUSHER. This is an aged WWII Crusher with excellent condition wool (no moth nips, rips, snags, etc, to speak of). This has the standard sized emblem found on most hats, and the leather shows a little more than average aging/wear. The buckle area in the back is the worst spot, yet when displayed or worn, it is either never seen, or hardly seen, so it has been displayed for years. It says 7 1/4, I wear 7 1/4 in a hat size, and it fits perfectly (no shrinking), so it is very wearable for re-enacting if desired. Please see pictures for the most accurate condition, I took every view I could think of. Ooks like it has initials M? S, as seen in the picture showing the size tag, but they are nearly faded completely. I tried making heads or tails of who this could have belonged to, yet was never able to track down anything solid from the initials. This is leaving my personal collection because I have too many hats from WWII and need to start letting some go. Please ask questions before purchasing, and if there is a picture missing somehow, let me know, and I will get it/them to you ASAP. This is a really superb example of a hard to find item, in near perfect condition. All buttons are present, brass, Kings Crown and unaltered, the lining is also in superb condition, I really love this one, but it’s too small for me.. See photos but please not the chest is not a 44″ as it might appear from the image, more 42 or 40″ – however the coat would easily alter, with the simple removal of buttons and re-positioning of them out or in, as required. (I have 2 more RAF greatcoats, but not in this condition sadly). In case I need to say, this is for the coat, epualetts and integral belt. The coat came with King Crown buttons, which indicate pre 1953, however there is no label to tie this down to a specific date of making.
