Vintage Stenciled US Air Force Cold Weather Parka Medium Flight USAF. Vintage cold weather flight parka with the US Air Force emblem stenciled on the sleeve. It’s size medium and measures, (laying flat). 24 Arm pit to arm pit. 17 Arm pit to end of sleeve. 31 Neck to bottom. It shows a bit of wear and there’s two small holes on the front. Air Force Type B-15C Intermediate Flight Jacket replaced the earlier Olive Drab B-15B Flight Jacket beginning in 1950. It has only been worn once or twice and stored in a smoke free home. No stains or tears. Measurements: Chest- 27 Shoulder- 21 Arm length- 27 Back length- 25. Buzz Rickson has reproduced the B-15C mod. Flight Jacket in exacting detail. Buzz Ricksons heavy nylon twill fabric is never to be confused with the cheap, flimsy flight satin used by lesser manufacturers to produce so-called vintage reproduction USAF flying jackets. In fact, the only other flying jackets in the world today made from this nylon are those vintage examples of the USAF! The This Buzz Ricksons B-15C mod. Flight Jacket correctly captures all the nuances found on an original vintage B-15C mod. , making this product virtually indistinguishable from an original vintage example of the USAF. Very good condition and guaranteed original WWII US Army Air Force officer visor cap that is a true crusher with pliable leather visor and no stiffeners. Cap is nice and clean and has a few moth tracks on tops. Nice officer eagle insignia. Complete with both leather chinstraps. Leather fittings are soft and supple with a little normal wear. Inside lining has some normal discoloration and a few small tears. Leather sweatband is soft and supple with a few chew marks. Hat is named under the visor and inside the sweatband to a BURCH along with his serial number. A nice true crusher that will make a fine addition to your collection and warrant further research into the officer. About a size 6 5/8.
