WWII USAAF C-3 Camera c. Folmer Graflex Anniversary Speed Graphic “45” (4X5 format). Kodak Ektar 127mm f 4.7 in a Graphex shutter. Film Holders: 1 ea. Camera Back: Graflex Graphic “Spring back”. Faint but clear and well-aligned split image; not adjusted for current lens. I have a number of these USAAF cameras that had been kept by veterans and families of the WWII era. I took successful film test pictures with this camera. Front between-lens and rear focal plane shutters appear to fire reliably within all speeds. While lens is good and produces acceptable images, l ens glass shows signs of scratches and pitting not immediately visible to me except under magnification. Shutters should be exercised monthly. In general, these may get sluggish after extended storage. Many people choose to store camera with shutters fired and at the slowest settings to avoid spring fatigue. Test your shutter speeds before any important shot. The Kalart rangefinder is not adjusted for this particular lens. The tube finder is missing the rear element and parallax adjuster. The left cloth of the viewing hood has a tear as seen in pictures. A list of adjustments were recently done and can be supplied on request. Cosmetic cleaning and restoration was made to the camera’s exterior; it was apparent that much of this had been done previously. The USAAF name plate shows corrosion, wear, and small dents; it is legible. No other accessories are included with this sale. Star Wars hipsters have plundered most of this period’s original flash synchronizers and have inflated prices completely beyond reason, to the ruin of many of these historical artifacts. Keep gear exercised–work the shutters through all of its speeds a few times a month. No warranties of usability or results for this gear, a bit older than some of us! You will find most folks very accommodating and willing to help with any problems or suggestions. Please do not expect or negotiate extra discounts over stated costs, as there are real costs for packaging and driving. We do usually interpret things in favor of buyers. We leave feedback AFTER buyers have indicated their satisfaction through their feedback. If you are not satisfied, it will be because you did not allow us to help solve a problem.
