Swiss Time Movement – Lower large knob winds clock/Sets time and smaller upper button is a stopwatch – three clicks to perform start/stop and reset. Appears to keep perfect time. This is a very well preserved totally honest Speedy with a nicely faded bezel, unpolished case, good 1170 bracelet, great dial with perfect patina. These are generally rare to find with boxes and papers and even more rare with a military connection; this is a wow piece. Diameter: 42 mm w/out crown, 44 mm w/crown, 47 mm lug to lug. Lug Width: 20 mm at the lugs tapering to 16 mm (will take a 20 mm bracelet). Gram Weight: 112 grams. Movement: Caliber 861 manual winding chronograph. Strap/Bracelet: Original Omega 1170 bracelet sized to fit up to a 8 wrist; clasp has original owners initials and USAF engraving. Case: STAINLESS STEEL original never polished case with faded tachymeter bezel, good original condition. Dial: MATTE BLACK with tritium baton markers in excellent original condition.
