Looking at Cockpit photos on the internet, this Essex #9020010700-12 Pilots Control Stick Grip appears to be from a McDonnell Douglas F-15A Eagle built in the 1970s. It is obviously in used condition as there are scuffs on the grip. All of the switches seem to function well. It is very similar to the Type B-8 grip but the B-8s have a 17 pin connector and this one has 37 pins. The other difference I notice from a Type B-8 Grip is that the mid left thumb button is a larger black one instead of a smaller red one like on the B-8. It has black RTV around all of the switches which seems to be normal for these grips as others I have had also had it. I did not want to remove the RTV as I wanted to leave it in its original as is removed condition. What you see in the photos is what you will be receiving. Stick Grip # 9020010700-12.
