WW2 Royal Air Force Lancaster Bomber communications receiver model R1155. Nice looking radio as fitted to heavy bomber aircraft during WW2 and seems to have been most famously used in the Lancaster bomber. This example is in very nice condition and looks to be complete. All the dials knobs and switches are present and they all turn freely. I do understand these receivers can be restored back to working condition and have an extremely good reputation. I wonder what messages this one intercepted? A real piece of RAF WW2 history and a real statement piece for any restorer, collector or enthusiast. Please check my other nice items for sale.
