What an incredible set. Havent been separated for nearly 80 years. This set is in nearly immaculate shape for the age. Most of the time, these were used and abused. This set on the other hand was very well taken care of. Im offering this set from my personal curation of apparel, Hoping the right person comes along and loves this as much as I do. The fur inside of the hood and jacket is in amazing shape, its not shedding or peeling in any way. A missing button on the right shoulder where the flap connects from the arm to shoulder. A button missing on the left rear pocket of the pants, where the back pocket buttons shut. As well as a small hole less than the size of a dime right above that. On the right leg, part of the leather strap on the zipper has torn away. Very slight black discoloration on right sleeve of the jacket. Trying to be very straight forward with this! Even taking those imperfections into consideration, this set is in fantastic shape and is a true Miracle its made it this far in such great condition. For sale is a RARE ORIGINAL VINTAGE 1940’S WWII USAF TYPE B-11 FLIGHT JACKET PARKA SIZE 40, in very good condition. The jacket has some stains (see all photos) and shows some signs of wear, to be expected for an item of this age. The cuffs on both sleeves show the most wear with some fraying, but still in good shape. All the buttons are original, except the bottom button which was replaced. The hood is lined with genuine wool mouton and features a chin strap. The interior which is in like new condition, is genuine Alpaca fur and is in pristine and the Conmar zipper works flawlessly. Jacket was made by the Albert Turner & Company. All Measurements Taken Flat. Chest: 22 1/2 inches. Sleeve: 24 1/2 inches. Vintage men’s B-11 style heavy air force parka. The air force logo is faint on the sleeve. Really nice and clean overall, especially considering it’s age! Heavy duty metal’Conmar’ zipper. Please consult measurements to be sure of fit. MEASUREMENTS (taken with the garment lying flat; it helps to compare to a similar garment that fits you well). Up to 24.5 flat across chest between underarms. 31 length measured from shoulder to hem. 23.75 sleeve length. Approximate 21-23.5 flat across back at elasticized waist–WAIST ELASTIC REMAINS STRONG/STRETCHY. Up to 21.5 between upper back shoulders. Very good condition, light cuff wear (pictured), vague stains near hem and some faint abrasion to seat area.
