Otherwise, everything else is in excellent condition. Both sleeve cuffs and the bottom band are in excellent condition. The heavy metal / brass talon zipper in the front works excellently, and the paint on the snaps is all in great condition. The jacket has an intact stencil for the US Army Air Forces on it’s left sleeve (if you’re wearing it), and is in excellent overall condition. There is some light wear, and dirt, but for being approximately 70+ years old, this jacket is in amazing condition! All buttons are present, and our pictures show the jacket turned completely inside out, and rezipped up. USAF USN A-7 Corsair II Aircraft Carrier Attack Aircraft Pilot’s Gun Sight

This is an original USN or USAF Corsair II Attack Fighter Aircraft Carrier Jet Gun Sight or Optical Sight. It is in good used condition. This sight lights up at the top and reflex’s the cross hairs on the glass using the mirror below. This sight came out of aircraft Bu. This aircraft was in VA 122 in 1969 then VA-153 in 1972 and then VA-125 in 1975 and then VA-56 in 1976. I had an 0-2A FAC aircraft and it used a very similar sight. This sight has two lenses , one clear for day and one red for night. It is 8 x 11 x 5 inches and weighs 3 pounds. I don’t believe there are any more of these aircraft flying. This would be a great on the desk or shelf of a former A-7 driver. Thank you for your interest in my auctions.
