The quartz clockwork ca. 1980 was serviced on 10/24/2024 by a reputable dealer and is in working condition. During servicing, the reputable dealer informed me that he was familiar with many of the signatures on the piece. The owner of the clockwork’s shop is a U. Air Force veteran whom confirmed serving with a few writers of the signatures. I was informed that the signers performed restoration on B-17 while it was being maintained at the Dover, Delaware Air Force Base.
