USAF Thunderbirds HGU-33 Helmet with MBU-12/P Oxygen Mask

This is a custom-made replica USAF Thunderbirds HGU-33 Helmet with MBU-12/P Oxygen Mask. This was professionally created for my modern jet fighter helmet collection in 2011 – it was NOT used by the team. It is in excellent condition. It features an integrated visor, working basic comms (built-in earcups) a standard cloth comfort liner, leather edge roll and chrome plated mask receivers. This helmet has been boxed up for the past 5 years and was only taken out to be photographed. I boxed it after replacing it with a replica of the newer HGU-55/P helmets currently used by the team. The MBU-12/P mask comes from my collection as well. It is in good used condition. It is NOT certified for flight use – FOR DISPLAY ONLY. Size is Medium Regular. Also included is a blue nylon padded helmet bag with the USAF Thunderbirds logo patch sewn on the outside and a styrofoam head for display. HGU-33 P pilot flight helmet Saudi Arabia Air Force USAF F-15 F-5

For sale an Original, rare custom HGU-33/P flight helmet from the Saudi Arabia Air Force. On the back of the helmet is the pilots name. I have been able to trace him and exchanged a few Messenger messages. He tells me het got the helmet in 1983 while training on the F-5 in USA. After comming back to Saudi Arabia the helmet saw combat action during the Iran/Iraq war and both Desert Shield and Desert Strom on the F-15C. Originally the helmet had a brown/ green camouflage which is visible trhough the grey paint in some areas. On the visorcover are a sillouette of an F-5 and an F-15, however covered under the grey paint. Look at picture 11 and 12 to see them. I guess the hlemt is a size Large.
