US AIR FORCE WORLD WAR II LITHOGRAPHS. They call it the FINE ART SERIES 10, it has 12 Prints that are ready for you to frame. In their original envelope (it got a little beat up). Each print measures 18″ x 24″. Condition is Very Good Pre-Owned, never framed. 1/ features Roy E. LaGrone of the Tuskegee Airmen and their Red Tail Mustangs. 2/ the Eagle Squadron which was American pilots working with the Royal Air Fotce. 3/ Gooney Bird supply drop in the Philippines. 4/ the Doolittle Raid taking off from a carrier headed to Tokyo. 5/ Gentile & Godfrey “Deadly Duo”. 6/ P-40 over Kunming. 7/ B-23s during the Ploesti Raid. 8/ Silver Wings by James Dietz. 9/ WASP Memories it shows some of the ladies who were involved in the war effort. 10/ Berlin bombing raid December 5, 1944 (I assume they are B-17s). 11/ P-38 Lighting one of the favorite fighters of WWII. 12/ P-47 Thunderbolts by Stan Stokes. Up for sale is a WW2? US Kollsman Sextant-Periscopic Type D-1 With Original Mount & Case. Made by the Kollsman Instrument Division of Square D. Also marked Property of USAF. The only other one that I could find was in an aviation Museum. All of the mechanics all seem to work properly and the clockwork section seem to work properly also. Overall it is in good condition. Orig Werber Leather Shearling WWII Army Air Forces B-3 Pilot Bomber Jacket 40R

This is an original WW2 B-3 Flight Jacket. These were used on high altitude bombing missions by the United States Army Air Forces. Made by Werber Sportswear. USA Air Force log on sleeve has nice color. Leather is not dried and is still flexible, but it has some flaking on the surface. Zipper and snaps are tarnished blue. Metal buckles have light rust and/or tarnish. One tear near the front hem, and two very small tears by the bottom hem near zipper (see pic), otherwise no rips, no holes. Has two leather straps under the collar and one on each side/back near the base (one has a loop that has come undone on one end). One outer shell pocket. Shearling line is thick and plush. Shearling collar has some greying. I’ve not tried cleaning this as I did not want to mishandle it and/or ruin the integrity. I do not see any prior repairs. Due to the tarnishing on the zipper teeth, I did not zip this for measurements, but I did lay it flat and pulled the zipper edges together. Shoulders (seam to seam):19. Chest (pit to pit x 2): 40. Length shoulder to hem: 25. Outer sleeve (seam to cuff end): 24. Inner sleeve (pit to cuff end): 18. I have no history on the oatmeal sweatshirt but was told the Remember Pearl Harbor sweatshirt was a little boys favorite and when he died in a car crash in 1943 the sweatshirt was found in his drawer and saved by the family. Army Air Force Original Pilot Photos. LEAP OFF 404th Fighter Group ORIG Period Pilot Photo 506th 507th 508th Air Force. I do not know a thing about this grouping, they were found together at a thrift shop. There are two pages from a scrapbook of original sepia toned pilot photos, one is full on one side and blank on the opposite, the other is full on one side and 7 photos on the opposite, for a total of 37 photos, pages are damaged around the edges. Photos measure 1 1/2 x 2 inches, they are in excellent condition. I looked at the back of a few photos, they were blank, no identifying information. A few of the pilot photos look like photos in the book, pilots of the 508th fighter squadron? One of my photos, bottom right shows a pilot wearing a jacket with a patch that can be researched. The book is not dated, pages are not numbered. The back cover, spine, and around the front cover have been redone in blue vinyl. Book cover shows wear. Most pages show grime, worst is shown. A few pages are taped in. The book is loaded with photographs, it describes the history of the 506th, 507th & 508th fighter squadrons with pilot photos from each.
