A rare and authentic Imperial Iranian Air Force pilot uniform, accompanied by a matching piece of fabric intended for tailoring a flight hat cover-both items included in a single package. Remarkably, the package remains unopened, exactly as it was originally sealed and packed in the United States over 50 years ago. The jacket was manufactured in the U. With four pockets, crafted from the highest quality gabardine fabric, a premium blend of Dacron and wool, tailored by the internationally recognized Bendon Dress Co. Known for its exceptional craftsmanship. This was designed to match the prestige of the elite pilots of the Imperial Iranian Air Force. Size: XS (Extra Small). WWII Era Original US Army Air Force Bailout Folding Machete Survival Knife w/Guard – Marked: Imperial Prov. Up for sale is a WWII Era Original US Army Air Force Bailout Folding Machete Survival Knife w/Guard. No rust or pitting. No nicks or chips in the blade. Minor evidence of sharpening. The blade is marked: Imperial Prov. The blade is 10″ long, with an overall lenght of 17″. It has an intergral folding blade guard. The guard folds into the handle when open or over the blade when closed, see photos. The release button is no longer present, the locking mechanism still functions, you just need to use a small tool to unlock it. The machete is used, please see photos for condition. This machete was adopted in October 1942 for the B-4 Emergency Bail Out Kit, usually attached to the parachute harness. Cole Book, “The Best of US Military Knifes, Bayonets and Machetes” page #195. The blade is true and straight but does have some dents and/or marring. Opens and closes without issue. Some visible signs of surface rust. Crack accross the hilt/handle on one side. WWI Imperial Russian Naval Air Force Overseas Cap. An extremely rare overseas cap for an aviator in the Imperial Russian Navy dated 1916. Information about naval aviation in Imperial Russia is understandably sparse, but records exist concerning Dimitry Grigorovich’s construction of several “M-type” flying boats for the Baltic Fleet in 1913. The cap has the Winged Anchor badge of the Imperial Russian Naval Airforce and on the inside bears the maker’s details, a faint depiction of the Tsarist Eagle and the date of 1916 (just a year before the Revolution). The cap came from a world-renowned collection of military headgear belonging to Robby Wilson. The collection is widely regarded as the largest of its kind and led to the formation of the Robby Wilson Foundation in 2008. A non-profit organisation dedicated to acquiring, authenticating and disseminating rare examples of headgear via a virtual museum. The cap is large in size; we believe either 58 or 59.
