The F-94c Starfire fighter was a interceptor aircraft loaded with missles. It was a two seat fighter with a unique fire through the nose and wing pods armament of missles. The rear seat airman searched for a target using radar, when the target was found the pilot fired the missles. This highly detailed Kitty Hawk (kh80101) model in 1/48th scale manufactured in 2012, provides an accurate representation of this 1950s aircraft. The nose of the Starfire aircraft, I opened up and scatch built an eletronic equipment bay complete with wiring for added realism. Also added is a pneumatic ground cart with figure, as well a mechanic. The diorama is completed with an airfield and photo backdrop. Then it’s nestled in a bed of Styrofoam to assure it is safe. This model would be a great addition to your collection!
