For sale is a lot of seven assorted WWII era US Army Air Force wings and badges. There is a large 3 inch wide sterling wings badge, a 1 ½ inch wide winged propeller badge in silver and gold plate, a 15/16 brass winged propeller pin, a sterling silver enamel SUSTINEO ALAS Technical Training Command, two similar enamel badges in brass, and a small enamel silver? USAAF pin with the number “20”. The largr wings have double post backs with clutches; the other badges have threaded rods and round nuts. The two sterling pieces are marked “STERLING”; the other pieces are unmarked. Condition on the pieces is fairly good. There is just some discoloration from age and wear. This listing is for a lot of VINTAGE USAF Security Police/Forces Badges. They are either defunct and no longer used for law enforcement purposes or never were. Included is the 2013 Air Force One presidential inauguration badge and pin set, 2005 Air Force One Presidential inauguration badge, Security Forces of the Millennium badge, Security Forces Global War on Terrorism badge and an antique Security Police badge (clasp is slightly damaged and doesn’t close properly). F AIR CREW EUROPE STAR GROUP BOAC BADGES &. FATHERS WW1 KRRC PAIR & ISM. WW2 Air Crew Europe Star Group to Edward S. Willey group comprises 1939/45 Star Air Crew Europe Star Defence and War Medal. The Ribbons show a bar to the ACE Star however that is lost. Medal Ribbons Badges etc also BOAC Identity badges from post war employment. He was born in 1918 in Wallingford Berkshire, He was educated at Abingdon school in Oxfordshire between 1929 – 1934 where he played for the first XV at Rugby and in the Second XI at Cricket. After school he held a position at Abingdon Public Library, on the outbreak of war he joined the RAF and reached the rank of Second Lieutenant. He served in 248 Beaufighter Squadron there is a combat report against Focke – Wulf 200’s copy pages included, After the war he transferred to B. As first as a Navigator and later as Flight Services Superintendent. He died suddenly at the age of 44. Copy documents and photographs included, well deserving of further research. Also The British War Medal, Victory Medal to A/C/ Sgt Ambrose Stanley Willey 6175 Kings Royal Rifle Corps (He was also entitled to the now missing 1914 Star).
