1950’s US Air Force K-2A Blue Pilots Flight Suit – Museum Quality! The ONLY condition issue is that the Air Force logo on the left shoulder is very faded (see pic). Otherwise this is in perfect unused/unworn condition. Made of very lightweight nylon. Lots of pockets with CONMAR zippers. Leather pull on front zipper and a leather clip on the upper left leg. The adjustable metal snaps at the waist and cuffs all work. Just an all around great piece!

USAF manufactured by Weber Showcase & Fixture Company, Huntington, CA. Dated 1951 with specification plate and contract numbers. This seat was removed from the original government wood crate. Near mint condition painted original zinc chromate green complete with all canvas seat, back arm and head cushions. The seat cushions are original and stamped Property of USAF with Weber’s original parts tag. Seat raises and lowers and tilt-reclines. Makes a great executive desk chair and great display seat. All original OD paint and no rust. Measures 44″ tall, 24″ wide, and 24 long. WW2 RAF Lancaster Bomber Bomb Selection Switchbox Arming Panel MUSEUM QUALITY. Very rare piece of Lancaster Bomber equipment, this device was located immediately below the cockpit at the Bomb Aimer’s station. Made externally from metal, this iconic bomb selection switchbox is fairly heavy for its’ size, approximately 8 x 4 x 2 inches. The connecter in the top left corner retains its cover, so often missing from these devices. The settings knob on the right side still turns, albeit a little stiffly, displaying the words through a small window’SINGLE & SALVO’, or’SAFE EXCEPT FOR JETTISON’ depending on the turning of the settings knob. A third word’DISTRIBUTOR’ is partially visible when turning the settings knob to its fullest, but there is some stiff resistance, and the word’DISTRIBUTOR’ is not fully visible. This may possibly be rectified with some oil, etc, however I do not want to risk damaging this historical artefact by forcing the settings knob further than is easily turned. Other than the slight problem with the settings know, the switchbox appears to be complete and in good order to me, all the 16 numbered switches on the front move up and down under tension as they should. PLEASE NOTE: THIS DEVICE IS KEPT IN A SECURE LOCK UP FACILITY, DUE TO IT’S RARITY AND VALUE. FOR THIS REASON, THERE MAY BE SOME DELAY IN OBTAINING FURTHER PHOTOGRAPHS, AND FOR DISPATCH. I NO LONGER KEEP SUCH VALUABLES IN THE HOUSE. Thank you for your understanding. THE DESCRIPTION AND THE FACTUAL INFORMATION IS TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE, ACCURATE AND HONEST. Air Force P-4A Flight Jet Pilot Helmet Museum Quality! The helmet belonged to Lieutenant Colonel Michael ” Mike ” Mitchell of Fresno, California. It’s obvious that this helmet meant alot to Mr. Mitchell because it was v ery well kept & stored through the years. This is one of the nicer P-4A helmets you will likely see. Earpads & leather suspension remain in great original condition! No holes, tears, etc. Also comes with 2 yearbooks and original helmet bag. Will be packaged very well to insure a safe arrival! Mike was a plankholder in the 3rd Special Operations Squadron, Dragon #12, one of only a handful of the original Airmen who established that highly effective combat unit from scratch in the most challenging of conditions. He was an expert marksman. Mike served in the United States Air Force for 15 years. He was a decorated pilot and flew the C-130, Predator drone, C-145, MC130E- Combat Talon and served several tours of duty in foreign countries including Afghanistan as a member of the 8th Special Operations Unit. He was also Chief of Standards and Evaluations of the Predator an unmanned aircrafts. He received numerous medals, awards, and commendations for bravery and service. The original P-1 hard helmet for jet pilots was introduced by the United States Air Force in March 1948. The Type P-4A was basically the same helmet with a sun visor added, improved earphones, and minor refinements to the web lining and straps. Oxygen mask was worn with this helmet which saw extensive service with the Air Force from 1956 to 1964. It was also used by many jet pilots of NATO and other friendly nations around the world. THIS IS THE SAME TYPE JACKET WORN BY STEVE MCQUEEN IN HIS OTHER CLASSIC WWII FILM, “THE WAR LOVER” (NOT THE “GREAT ESCAPE” WHERE HE WEARS AN A-2). THE JACKET IS SHEEPSKIN LEATHER, WITH HORSE HIDE LEATHER SLEEVE AND PANEL CONNECTION REINFORCEMENTS; AND LINED WITH 18MM THICK 100% FLEECE ALL FEATURES JUST LIKE THE ORIGINALS. A VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED, WARM AND STUNNING LOOKING JACKET. THE JACKET HAS THE WWII ARMY AIR CORPS WING AND STAR DECAL ON THE LEFT SHOULDER, THE COLLAR HAS THE TWO THICK LEATHER STRAP CLOSURES AND THE JACKET BODY HAS THE LEATHER STRAP FIT ADJUSTERS ON THE BOTTOM. DOUGLAS C-133 US Air Force MATS is one of the best I have ever seen, without question. A true collector quality Allyn. Near mint condition with no repairs noted, bright chrome finish, perfect props, excellent paint and decals, and the stand in excellent condition with the Douglas Logo. I believe the model to be 1/200 scale with a nearly 10″ wingspan and a 8 1/4″ nose to tail measurement. This early Allyn late 1950’s?
