World War II German Incendiary Bomb Tail Fin Battle Of Britain Memorabilia WW2
Vintage World War II. German Incendiary Bomb Tail Fin. Genuine WWII era, German B1E 1kg Incendiary Bomb tail fin. The bomb would have consisted of a cylindrical body, made of magnesium alloy, and filled with thermite, an incendiary compound. To which was riveted the three finned steal tail that you see here. These bombs did not explode, but on impact, the needle in igniter was driven into a small percussion cap, which in turn ignited the thermite filling, and ultimately the alloy case in itself, producing enough heat that was sufficient to melt steel. The tail fin is good condition for its year, with some signs of age and related wear. Fast dispatch, expertly packaged. Sent via a tracked courier service. The item “World War II German Incendiary Bomb Tail Fin Battle Of Britain Memorabilia WW2″ is in sale since Monday, September 20, 2021. This item is in the category “Collectables\Militaria\World War II (1939-1945)\RAF”. The seller is “vintageandcollectablesco” and is located in Kent. This item can be shipped worldwide.

Reproduction 1932 Pattern Mae West WW2 RAF Battle Of Britain
This reproduction was made by myself as an exact copy of an original 1932 Pattern Life Preserver on display at the Battle of Britain museum in Hawkinge, Kent. It is made of the correct weight pure Irish linen. The inside of the collar has been proofed in the same style as an original. This reproduction uses many original components including buttons, buckles, webbing tape and even a wartime era Lightning Sliding Fastener. The instructions and labels on the Mae West have been meticulously matched to copy the ones found on numerous originals. The Mae West also features a set of Kapoks stuffed with hand teased Java Kapok as per the original specifications. Ive also included an mock inflation tube to complete the look. This reproduction is true to an original size Medium and intended to be suitable for a man of a chest measurement 36 – 40 inches, however it can probably be worn up to 44 inch chest over a service dress. In my own opinion this is the best reproduction on the market. A lot of time and expense has been spent in getting it as close in appearance and feel to an original. With a little bit of age and wear it will probably fool most experts. Perfect for display in a collection or worn at a reenactment. This reproduction will not disappoint. Identified 5th Air Force navigator battle dress uniform with some research ww2

Included is what I assume to be an Australian battle dress uniform with Air corp insignia and embroidered navigator wings. Uniform is marked with a laundry mark and there are a couple spots that were blacked out previous owners? I have included all the information i was able to find on this individual from the surviving family and a considerable amount of time on the internet. WW2 RAF Royal Air Force MKIIIA Flying Goggles Battle of Britain Dunkirk
WW2 RAF Royal Air Force MKIIIA Flying Goggles Battle of Britain Dunkirk. These type of goggles were worn by RAF (Royal Air Force) pilots in the early stages of the Second World War and were one of the most common models worn during the fall of France, Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain. The Mk IIIA goggles are the exact type worn by the RAF pilots in the famous”the few” propaganda poster (see pictures). The googles are in overall very good clean condition, with some signs of age and light wear. He spring loaded straps are in good order and the lenses are quite clear. The only defect being one side of the strap had become unattached from the goggles and has been period repaired (see pictures). This does not impede the usage. Of the goggles and does not detract from the goggles overall appearance and they look very impressive when displayed. 22C/62 and dated 1938. A RAF pilots name has also been written to the underside of the strap which is hard to read but looks to be some initials are the name Shire.
