Vietnam Era US Air Force Pilot’s Type A-8B Oxygen Mask – Dated 1966 or 1967 – Unissued Condition – RARE. The mask is in Unissued Condition, still sealed in the original box, please see photo’s for condition. The rubber portion of the mask is soft and pilable, it has the harness straps, oxygen hose and bladder. It is dated 1966 or 1967 on the packaging. No choice of dates. This is the version without the microphone. NOTE: these are all still sealed in the original box, except for the example, which we opened for the photo’s. When this was opened, it was found that the bladder had deteriorated. This could be the case in the other ones we did not open. So, there is NO GUARANTEE the bladder will not be deteriorated. NOTE: On multiple quantity listings, the item in the photo is a representative sample of the inventory that is available, it is NOT the exact item you will receive. Original issue 1944 dated. World War 2 Pilots oxygen demand mask. Cellophane packaging is old and hard to see through, so we split open just a little in order to get better pics of the contents, but we did not want to disturb it too much. Box has a little rust on the metal corner and the label is coming off in places. The mask and hose appear to be in good shape, and although appears live and pliable, we cannot guarantee its future performance. WW2 US MAE WEST LIFE PRESERVER. As used by the US Air forces and the US Paratroopers on D day. All the straps, buckles and metal hardware are fully intact and are in good condition. The two black rubber mouth inflation tubes are in good condition and the rubber is not perished. The one tube does have a small split at the end (see photo 11). Both CO2 cartridge holders are still present and are in excellent condition. They are still complete with the pull cords that still move freely. The life preserver is marked in the bottom corner and reads. Dated April 23rd 1945. It does have and shows some staining and marks to the material due to age but overall the life preserver it is in excellent condition. I have not tried / attempted to inflate it. I try to describe items the very best i can and take the best photos as possible. Please check my feedback. Complete 1943 Dated US 9th Air Force Officers Uniform 42 Chest

Complete 1943 Dated US 9th Air Force Officers Uniform 42 Chest. A complete uniform comprising Tunic, Trousers, Shirt, Tie and Crusher Cap to a Major in the 9th US Air Force. What immediately stands out is the high quality of cloth and tailoring employed resulting in a very smart appearance. The Tunic is a large size with approximately a 42 chest. Overall condition is very good with no apparent damage but missing the waist belt. Inside, the Tunic is part lined and this has become unstitched in places. The label states simply Regulation Army Officers Uniform and the owners name remains partly discernible as W. Although the insignia is to a medical Major dentist, these tunics are of course generic allowing the collar insignia to be changed to reflect any roll. Both Shirt and Tie are in very good undamaged condition, the Shirt having a collar size of about 16 and retaining its manufactures label, Jayson Dry Clean Only. The right sleeve shows the four service bars matching the Tunic. The Cap is a good size 7 3/8 and whilst the appearance and exterior are very good, the sweatband has disintegrated. The Trousers (or Pinks) are very interesting. In very good condition with no damage they were made in the UK in 1943 by Montague Burton and retain two good clear labels. With a 35 waist they match the frame of the Tunic well and were made with a leg length of 35, now shortened to 31 with 2 let down still available. Still attached are an excellent sent of issue braces. The 9th Air Force arrived in the UK from the Mediterranean in 1943 to participate in the invasion and became the largest Air Force of all time with 3500 aircraft of all types from Gliders to bombers. Medical officers of all types from the 9th Air Force accompanied the airborne troops on D Day. A truly impressive uniform in a very good large size. US Air Force HGU-7P Flight Helmet, Contract Dated 1968, NOS Stock, Sealed box

THE HELMET YOU WILL RECEIVE WILL STILL BE SEALED UP IN ITS ORIGNAL BOX!!! THE helmet in the pictures is one that was out of a opened box, The helmet is complete with all electronics and straps, the only fault with this helmet is the foam sheets that are inside the ear phones have fallen apart due to age and heat! These are easily replaced if you want to! The helmets label shows it to have a 1968 contract date! The USAF HGU-7P was designed to be used by transport crews on the C-130 aircraft. The helmet proved to be unpopular and was dropped from use after a short time making them rare. A picture of this helmet in use is found in “Vietnam Warbirds in Action” by Dana Bell, picture#113 near the end of the book. I have been told by some of the larger surplus dealers that the helmet was also used on the B-52 and B-58 by crewman. And also some of the bird dog spotter aircraft as well since they were a lot cooler to wear in the heat! The helmets are complete with all electronics, unissued. The best way to describe the helmet is to say it looks like a baseball batters helmet with a removable bill, white in color, plastic shell, the size is adjustable with the use of foam insertshelmet still has the original foam inserts in unused cond.
