We are offering for sale a Vintage green military trunk foot locker with a military history and ties to the now closed Cason Long Military Academy in New Bloomfield Pa. To McCord Airforce Base Tacoma Washington stenciled in black on large white painted square on top.. Information stenciled in black on the bottom where it has five small feet.. Chest has two metal drop handles on each end and a metal drop handle for carrying like a suitcase.. A hasp for a pad lock and two draw latches for security.. Interior is clean and odor free with a divided tray.. See pics for details.. CONDITION:: Overall good used vintage condition.. Shows some appropriate use wear and age with one tray support missing.. Type CWU-1/P Mil-C-2578S USAF. Hood zips in the collar. Overall for the age I would say they are in great shape. The knee/leg has a little staining (see photo). The collar has a stain (see photo). Also the shoulder area has a few small little holes from pins (see photo). Please Note – This flying suit is used and shows signs of wear. Thanks so much for checking out my listing! This military-issue type jacket was designed and approved by the U. Air Force and made in the United States under a contract with Cooper Sportswear Manufacturing Company. The jacket shell is made of premium hand-stitched Goatskin. The jacket features dual knit cuffs and waist band along with a cotton-blend interior lining. In addition, the jacket has a U. Air Force-regulation snap down leather lined collar, shoulder epaulets, two snap down pockets, a full-length brass zippered opening with integrated wind flap, a metal hook under the collar to fasten the top of the opening, and brass grommets under each armpit for ventilation. Men’s size 50L. All tags in place! Includes a blank Original Cooper Certificate of Authenticity, original description and jacket history Card, and large Cooper A2 emblem tag. From a Non smoking environment. Features: Original Certificate of Authenticity, Jacket History information Card, Cooper Emblem Tag. Heavy duty metal zip front. Snap button & hook collar. 2 front flapped patch pockets. Stretch waist and cuff bands really keep the cold out. Soft 100% genuine Goatskin leather exterior, 50/50 cotton poly liner. Leather is soft and supple, VERY comfortable. EXCELLENT previously worn condition: No flaws, light signs of wear. Exterior looks perfect with only the lightest signs of wear on the stretch waistband. USAF A-2 Leather Flight Jacket Brown USA Made. Please see the photos for the exact details of the immaculate condition of this jacket. Actually never been actually worn since I bought it a few years ago, so it’s time to clear it from my closet. This is a remarkable jacket and it will not disappoint. Made out of very superior horsehide leather and expertly hand stitched, this particular A-2 Leather Flight jacket is a true homage to the original A-2 jacket. I think of the legacy of American Aviators by showcasing this US Authentic modern version of a Flying Tigers historic jacket used by Claire Lee Chennault Volunteer pilots during the 1930’s Thru USA’s entry into the Second World War. 1930s a-2 jackets were actually worn by a few pilots into the Korean conflict era. First produced in the late 1930’s and decommissioned in the early early to mid WW2 period after the introduction of the now famous Non leather cotton and nylon series of flight jackets. The A-2 made very significant advanced steps at the creation and design of the iconic leather Flight Jacket. Like the original model, this Jacket features two front flapped pockets as well as genuine knit cuffs and waistband to keep cold air out, which were used to protect pilots flying sky high in open aircraft cockpits. Authentic features and Talon zipper! This jacket is truly superior grade and ready to wear. The Made in USA A-2 Leather Flight Jacket is an outerwear style that represents the sacrifices made by the early volunteer Flying Tiger fighter pilots of the 20th Century. Get it here for much less!
