Vintage Original Retired US Military Air Force Base Restricted Area Steel Sign. Please view all pics for condition. Shows wear from being used and from storage. I was told by the gentleman who I got this from it came out of either Colorado or Arizona. The gentleman he got it from was in charge of replacing these signs when they needed replacing. The white letters have some fading. Surfaces have scuffs and some scratches. Not a sign that comes up very often, I’ve only have seen the one. Overall still displays well! Measures: 24″ Wide x 18″ Tall. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

A good issued example of a 1940-dated. Royal Air Force’Messenger. Mk II Brodie Steel Helmet. Complete with liner &. A nice looking helmet, in its’as found condition. Fisher, Foil Ltd (1941-45). A size 7/1/4 and with a carefully white stencilled single. Lettering to front, the exterior & interior RAF duck-egg blue paint. Is to a pretty good, all over finish. With just signs of black undercoat showing through in places. Lip of the shell is stamped for. Briggs Motor Bodies (1939-45). There s also a roughly scratched name to the underside. Okay, this is what makes my job fun. Hey have you seen one of these? And pulls this out from the garage. He served in the Korean War and had extensive military service. He recovered this Korean War Era F-86 Gun panel 2 x 20mm and 1x 50 Cal. From the Bardenas Reales Bombing range in Spain in the 1970’s. I also bought a statue he receieved from local leadership in Korea in appreciation for his service. It may still be listed on my site. This is a great piece for a variety of uses. It is made of stainless steel because it had to take the heat from the guns not aluminum like the rest of the plane. It would make a great wall hanger for any wartime or military aviation collector. People still fly these, so perhaps someone needs a replacement part. If you are like me, you like to see what you are getting, so I took lots of pics. Check out my other cool listings!
